Weather Service: Bright and chilly Wednesday
Wednesday will be another chilly spring day for Shelter Island, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The NWS is calling for mostly sunny skies and a high temperature of 50 degrees. It will feel colder due to a west wind at 13 to 16 mph bringing wind chill values to 25 to 35 degrees.
Tonight, clouds move in and the wind will shift to the southwest at 5 to 13 mph, according to the NWS, and the low temperature will be about 40 degrees.
