Weather Service: Cool, mild day for Shelter Island
Today the National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for a mild, partly sunny day for Shelter Island.
High temperatures will be near 65 degrees and it will be breezy, with winds from the east at 10 to 5 mph, according to the NWS.
Tonight there’s a slight chance of rain, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 59 degrees. The winds will stay out of the east, but will pick up at 20 to 22 mph.
