A fish-eye lens captures a tree clinging to a patch of Island earth.
Mike Gaynor, with the help of a professional crew, moved a red oak, one of the Island’s largest trees, from one side of his Cobbetts Lane property to the other last week.
Latest reports are that all — human and arboreal — are doing fine.
Month-old foxes pranced and played outside their Silver Beach den last week. Their dark fur will change to a vivid reddish-brown over the next few weeks. (more…)
