Weather Service: Milder, sunny day for Shelter Island

The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for a bright, sunny day with a high temperature of 39 degrees and winds from the west at 10 to 17 mph.

Tonight will be mostly clear, with the temperature dropping to about 21 degrees and the wind shifting slightly to the north at 7 to 15 mph, according to the NWS.
