Weather Service: Mild, hazy day for Shelter Island

The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for  a sunny day for the first work day of the week, but with widespread haze.

The high temperature will reach 73 degrees today, and the winds will be from the north at 5 to 8 mph. 

Tonight will be clear, according to the NWS, with a low around 54 degrees and the winds remaining calm.
