Goat Hill grief
To the Editor:
My response to the April 7 letter to the editor about the situation at the Shelter Island Country Club (“New leadership for Goat Hill”) is: good grief! And I was not the only person taken aback.
How could this possibly happen? Perhaps it is now time for the county or state to take over this historical gem. It’s such a travesty. Apparently, the golf course itself is a total disaster. The clubhouse is in pretty good shape from what I have been told. (more…)
